Tonight…

my roommate and I are watching the Walking Dead and because we can’t help but feel the need to snack during the show, I made Roasted Chickpeas! Totally easy, just preheat your oven to 400 degees, strain and rinse a can (or two…or three :] ), pat dry with a papertowel, lightly coat in olive oil and bake for 25-35 minutes! Take out and cover in any seasonings you like! It’s a fantastic substitute for overly buttery, salty popcorn.

Also, I cut up a fruit plate and have a big bowl of unshelled, steamed edamame! :] Hurray for healthy snacks!

LOL, omg this is so true! Sometimes my sister and I are having those late night deep conversations while my parents are asleep. And I ask her, “Can you turn up that song you’re listening to? I’m gonna work out.” And she looks at me like I’m crazy.

Luckily my gym is within walking distance inside my apartment complex :) so anytime I feel that urge, I just run down there!
